Blue Lake is an excellent choice for family camping. The beach area is shallow and suitable for small children but the lake, though small, is big enough for older kids and adults to enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding. This works well for us. Facilities were not as clean and as well maintained as in previous years… particularly the bathrooms. I understand that power outages beyond the control of the resort may have contributed to this issue. Anyway we will be back next year. It’s a family favorite

We've been staying here on and off since 2007, and we've stayed in cabins four times - the rest we tented. I honestly think this is one of the true BC gems. The cabins are really comfortable and super affordable given all the features, and the staff are amazingly helpful. Also, the location is incredible. From the rope swing to the badminton court, to the nice shady playground with the animals, to the hut with the football table, and of course, the beautiful lake, there is everything for kids to explore. My kids love Blue Lake, and I owe it to them to bring them here every year!

Camping at Blue Lake is always great!! Love swimming in the lake! Been camping here yearly for about 10 or so years now. The staff are friendly and always great. Sites are clean and some are spacious. My only wish is that the bathrooms would get an upgrade. At least the girls one, not sure of the men's. The toilets are very low (preschool height toilets) and are tippy when sat on.

I love Blue Lake and have been going on and off for 25 + years. Unfortunately when we arrived Mon Aug 5 the air around the cabin we were in ( cabin 2) smelled heavily of sewage on and off for our entire 5 day stay. ( we also had my sisters bf camper set up at site across from us so we spent a lot of time there. ) I’ve been talking about BL to my family for years and was finally able to bring them so it was very disappointing..The staff were great, bathrooms and showers well maintained but the smell..

Really beautiful site, the lake access RV site are amazing. Obviously a lot of work goes into maintaining the site. Only issue: the road going in. Some of it’s paved, but there’s lots of pot holes and bumpy parts on the sharp and windy drive up. Scary to do in a car, even worse in an RV!

Really nice little camp resort with many activities. Think really well suited to families with children 13(+/-) or younger with a little playground and games room petting zoo and beach. Great easy fishing experience. Small fish good for the kids to enjoy, with it very easy to catch both from a boat and the docks around the lake.

We have not been back in 20 years and it was nostalgic. The peace and quiet and time to unwind. We did a cabin, it is was perfect for us. It really had the basics you need. The pullout was a bit miserable and a bit of a sore point of who got that bed if your an adult. Having the ability to just roll out of bed and swim then a hot tub - was a win!

We have done an annual family get away at the blue lake lodge for the past 5 years. We stay in the lodge with my full extended family (there is 24 of us). We were thrilled with the addition of the cedar sauna this winter! It has a great view of the lake, and is the perfect addition to our family holiday!

I have been going to Blue Lake since I was a kid and now I get to enjoy taking mine there. They've put alot of hard work into the maintenance of the campground and it's just a beautiful place to relax and take in Lake life. We stayed in a cabin for the first time there this year and it was perfect. It's the newest cabin that has all your basic needs, just make sure to bring a few extras! Staff is very friendly and offer quick firewood drop off service. Hoping to share the experience with different friends soon enough!!

I have been taking my 3 girls to Blue Lake Resort for over 7 years now. We absolutely love the atmosphere. It feels safe, clean and family oriented. Every year I am so grateful to have a place to go to that feels like a home away from home in a place that respects people and nature together.
